PROPERTY FROM A DISTINGUISHED PRIVATE AUSTRIAN COLLECTOR (LOT 130)
No VAT will be charged on the hammer price, but VAT at 15% will be added to the buyer's premium which is invoiced on a VAT inclusive basis.
It is likely that the present work is part of a series of five paintings by the artist depicting the five senses, of which there is a known allegory of Sight in a Private Collection, Amsterdam. Pieter van Mol also painted five allegories of Sin between 1625-1630.
