late 18th century
On ivory, possibly Lady Martin and Sir Henry Martin, she wearing a lavender gown, her hair long and curled and dressed with pearls, he wearing blue coat with yellow trim and white cravat, his powdered wig worn en queue with a ribbon bow, each within blue glass borders, she with rose cut-diamond silver set, he with steel cut beads, the reverse glazed to reveal plaited hair.
