Attributed to William Bennett NWS, British 1811-1871- Glacial lake framed by alpine trees, distant waterfall and mountains beyond; watercolour, 31x45.5cm: together with one other watercolour by the same hand depicting a cliff-top landscape, 38x54.5cm., (2) (mounted, unframed) (VAT charged on hammer price)

Both unframed and mount in cream mounts with line detail handling marks round mounts first image has minor discolouration around the edges otherwise in good general condition Second image suffered from some time-fading of colours also discolouraiton of paper, more noticeable in top left corner otherwise in good general condtion both pictures stuck onto mount boards by tape on the top corners.
