This is very similar in scale, technique and style to a drawing of Two Standing Figures, sold New York, Sotheby's, 23 January 2008, lot 3. They both compare closely with the Standing Figure of a Saint, in the Ambrosiana, which is inscribed Aurelio Luvino pi.re.1 All may have been designs for the same project, probably a series of Apostles. 1.
