Autographs: CRISP QUENTIN, (1908-1999) English Writer of The Naked Civil Servant. Signed and inscribed 8 x 12 photograph of Crisp standing in a half length pose, back to back with the actor John Hurt who poses in costume as Crisp. Both men look directly towards the camera in this publicity portrait for the 1975 television dramatisation of Crisp's memoirs, in which Hurt starred in the role of the writer. Signed in bold blue fountain pen ink to the lower white border by Crisp. Obtained in person at the BBC, Broadcasting House, London, on 8th May 1987. EX
