uncommon. This edition of the six great unaccompanied sonatas and partitas of Bach, BWV 1000-6, including the celebrated D-minor Chaconne, has not been traced in the British Library. According to James Fuld, the present edition is a variant of the first issue and may have been produced at the same time for the French market during the French occupation of Bonn in 1802.
