NOTE

Balraj Khanna is an Indian born artist who has lived and worked in England for many years. He is known for his abstract paintings in which strange forms seem to float in a dreamlike element between air and water. In March 1990 Bryan Robertson stated 'Khanna is one of the most distinguished artists working in England... essentially Khanna has made an abstract world of his own which is extraordinarily purposeful, animated in its dream like inexorability and hermetically enclosed, intent upon its own rise and fall, ebb and flow, waxing and waning like the movements of the sea or the sun or the moon.'
