Condition Report

Generally very food overall condition. Brown and greenish patinas. No visible evidence of losses or repairs. We note some minor spotty surface abrasion at part of top of base edge near signature 'Fenton', with some slight abrasion in the letter 'O' in Fenton. We note some dark grayish passages in some of the sculpted recesses. In these areas, the gray disrupts the otherwise brown patina, including at parts of the juncture between figure's legs and top of frog and parts of frog and top of base.
There are some minor surface scratches in part of bottom outer edge of right wing. There are some scattered minor surface inconsistencies/imperfections.

Descriptions provided in both printed and on-line catalogue formats do not include condition reports. The absence of a condition statement does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition or completely free from wear and tear, imperfections or the effects of aging. Interested bidders are strongly encouraged to request a condition report on any lots upon which they intend to bid, prior to placing a bid. All transactions are governed by Freeman's Conditions of Sale.
