Inscribed beneath the base 'FAWN RESTING/ BY BEATRICE FENTON,' length 5 1/2 inches. Together with two Pennsylvania carved and painted wood toys: the first a box, the lid applied with a carved mouse and sliding open to reveal a pouncing cat, length 2 3/4 inches; the second a swiveling duck with carved and painted plumage, raised on a platform, height 4 inches.
