Beatrix Sherman (American, 1894-1975), a collection of five silhouettes including three from the 1915 Panama-Pacific International Exposition, of Lord Bishop of the Buddhists, Chinese Minister and Woman in a Kimono; a Woman, and a Man identified as "My First Silhouette from Life, age 10 years", all mounted on board and four autographed by sitter, some signed by the artist and with printed biographical material en verso, sizes ranging from 5 1/2 in. x 3 1/2 in. to 11 1/2 in. x 6 in., unframed; accompanied by eight unmounted silhouette bust view portraits in a "Silhouette Stick-on-figures by Beatrix Sherman" envelope, sizes ranging from 2 in. x 3 in.
