2 volumes, 4υo (277 x 215 mm). Engraved title-page in each volume, 118 engraved plates and one folding map (a few plates with minor spotting, else fine). Contemporary straight-grained morocco gilt, spines gilt, edges gilt (minor rubbing along edges).

FIRST EDITION, with descriptions of the landscapes and sites of Scotland and including views of Edinburgh, Colzean Castle, Burn's Mausoleum, St. Andrews, and Cawdor Castle. A FINE SET. Brunet I:717.
