Oil on canvas, signed at the lower right corner, framed in a carved corner frame with curves and flowers, finished in gold frame, the canvas size measuring . 24" x 36", and with the frame overall 32" tall x42"wide . The subject is the principal still life setting for which the artist was known. This attractive composition demonstrates the mature skill Balogh developed in rendering pretty formal objects in a realistic manner.
