Ben is an artist, educator and consultant based in Dublin. He has exhibited worldwide and has completed residencies in Ireland, France, Slovenia, China, Thailand, and Portugal. Solo exhibitions include: Diaclasis, The Return Gallery, Goethe Institut (curator Mark Garry). Circadian, DLR Lexicon. Ben Readman (Prix Mourlot), ESBAM, Marseille. Of This Earth, Rua Red. Two Person exhibitions include: Adaptation, Toot Young Art Centre, Bangkok (curator Myrtille Tibayrenc). Of This Earth, Rua Red, Dublin. Group Exhibitions include: Convergence, Siemens Art Space, Beijing. New Living Art, IMOCA (curator Claire Feeley). Marseille Now, NewB Gallery, Shanghai.

He was awarded the Prix Mourlot (Mourlot Prize) for painting in Marseille in 2010 and has been awarded funding from several bodies including the Arts Council and Dublin City Council. His work is in several public and private collections, including the Office of Public Works, DIT, Key Capital Investment, Mason Hayes & Curran, Deutsche Bank, Shelbourne Hotel, Sichaun University, Petch Osathanugrah, Bangkok University (B.U.G.). Ben is a lecturer at the Dublin School of Creative Art at TU Dublin and formerly was the Chairman and Artistic Director of BLOCK T from 2010-2015. He is a member of the Visual Arts Centre. He is currently the Chair of the IDI student graduate awards and on the board of Visual Artists Ireland.

Any international couriers will be paid by the winning bidder. 
All artworks will be transferred to Expert Removals and Storage on the afternoon of Tuesday 27th April.
Artworks will be delivered within a 7 day period after this date. 
You will be contacted with details of delivery by text message. 
If you are not home you will need to rearrange delivery directly with Expert Removals and Storage.

AUCTION DETAILS
Auction days are Friday 23rd, Saturday 24th, Sunday 25th and Monday 26th April.
Friday's session kicks off at 7.30pm Irish Standard Time (IST), Sat & Sun days start at 2.30pm and the final day (which was recently added due to popular demand) starts at 7:30pm.

Bidding is by online paddle only and all bidders must register with Invaluable beforehand. Register at www.invaluable.com (search SCOOP Foundation in search bar). 

All lots must be paid in full prior to delivery.

All buyers are subject to a 20% buyers premium, which helps the charity cover event, admin and delivery costs, as well as the charge for using the online bidding portal (5%).

The auctioneer and event managers are authorised to execute bids on behalf of absentee bidders.

All disputes will be settled at the Auctioneer's discretion.

PHONE BIDDING
All phone bidders must register their name, phone number and interested lot(s) / artist & artwork by noon on Thursday the 22nd of April 2021. Any communication received after this deadline is not guaranteed to be tended to.
