Ben is an artist, educator and consultant based in Dublin. He has exhibited worldwide and has completed residencies in Ireland, France, Slovenia, China, Thailand, and Portugal. Solo exhibitions include: Diaclasis, The Return Gallery, Goethe Institut (curator Mark Garry). Circadian, DLR Lexicon. Ben Readman (Prix Mourlot), ESBAM, Marseille. Of This Earth, Rua Red. He was awarded the Prix Mourlot (Mourlot Prize) for painting in Marseille in 2010 and has been awarded funding from several bodies including the Arts Council and Dublin City Council. His work is in several public and private collections, including the Office of Public Works, DIT, Key Capital Investment, Mason Hayes & Curran, Deutsche Bank, Shelbourne Hotel, Sichaun University, Petch Osathanugrah, Bangkok University (B.U.G.). Ben is a lecturer at the Dublin School of Creative Art at TU Dublin and formerly was the Chairman and Artistic Director of BLOCK T from 2010-2015. He is a member of the Visual Arts Centre. He is currently the Chair of the IDI student graduate awards and on the board of Visual Artists Ireland.
