Inscribed in blue ballpoint pen Lynch c. 1952 Fotomonteu Miecyzslawa Bermana on the verso.Berman attended the School of Decorative Arts in his hometown of Warsaw, Poland. He became a commercial artist who was strongly influenced by Dadaism, Russian Constructivism and the graphic arts. His work is characterised by a political and satirical edge. Berman's work is in the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, as well as other public collections. - Upper edge bumped slightly, crease in lower left corner, small spot in center of image, traces of previous mounting on the verso, otherwise in near excellent condition.
