Verzaameling van alle de huizen en prachtige gebouwen langs de keizers en heere-grachten der stadt Amsteldam. Amsterdam: Bernardus Mourik, [?1768]. 2o (428 x 281mm). Title in red and black with woodcut publisher's monogram device. One-leaf list of subscribers. 24 numbered double-page engraved plates. 19th-century red half roan, flat spine lettered in gilt (extremities lightly rubbed). RARE. THE PRINCIPAL HOUSES OF MID 18TH-CENTURY AMSTERDAM IN A PANORAMIC SERIES, published by the editor of Maandelykse Nederlandsche Mercurius, a magazine which featured illustrations of contemporary Dutch architecture and appeared almost every month in Amsterdam from 1756. After Mourik's death in 1791 the editorship of the magazine passed to Jan Augustijn Swalm, under whom it continued until Swalm's death in 1807. PROVENANCE Dr Anton C.R. Dreesmann (inventory no.
