Lot 1203: BOHUSLAV BARLOW (born 1947); an unusual hand

BOHUSLAV BARLOW (born 1947); an unusual hand painted ceramic bowl decorated with a naked female figure beside a cherub, incised initials to base, diameter 22cm. This bowl and the previous lot were purchased from an exhibition at the Manor House Gallery Ilkley in 1978-79 entitled ''Temples and Homunculi'' where Barlow was experimenting with ceramics.

Appear in very good with no obvious signs of faults, damage or restoration.
