Newcastle, 1960, no. 73 (as Floriano Ambrosini)

Notes

This is a careful study of the façade of the Palazzo Rossi (formerly Zani), Bologna, now the property of the Bonifica Renana, at 56 via Santo Stefano. It was built in 1594 to the design of Floriano Ambrosini, an architect active in Bologna at that period, and still houses a painting of the Fall of Phaeton by Guido Reni.
