CATALOGUE NOTE

This large drawing shows a panorama of dead cats, each with four legs in the airs, stretching off to the horizon. In the lower right corner there is one cat, not dead but winking.

Simon Bond's 101 Uses for a Dead Cat was first published in 1981. It instantly became a best-seller and was, reputedly, the fastest-selling cartoon book of all time, selling over a million copies in America alone. There were several sequels and calendars produced.
