Engraved pictorial title and 29 engraved plates by Bowles, showing fountains, water falls, statues and gardens (some browning and staining to title and some margins of plates, a few short marginal tears). Disbound in original wrappers; cloth portfolio. FIRST EDITION. The last 7 plates contain Fountains in the labyrinth at Versailles representing the Fables of Aesop. Cleveland Collections 394 (GC copy this copy).
