MONUMENTAL BRONZE PORTRAIT BUST - Michelangelo by Paul Wayland Bartlett (CT/FR, 1863-1925), signed on left shoulder, done as a study for the over-sized full-length sculpture housed in the Library of Congress in Washington, DC, alongside his similar portrait of Columbus, first exhibited at the Pan American Exhibition of 1901, 20 1/2" tall, 11" wide, 12" deep, very heavy, fine condition.
