After the First Ball. Depicting a tired girl resting in her bed looking at her ball gown draped over a chair. Her unlaced shoes lay nearby on the floor. Signed lower left with an intertwined monogram "CT, 1873". Foreign labels on stretcher and reverse of canvas. Needs some restoration.
Oil on canvas, 30" x 24". Framed.
