Description

Done is late 1989, when the seven crew members of the Challenger spaceship perished. Collins, a decorated WWII Veteran, was inspired to sculpt this memorial to honor the crew's courage. It was his hope that the crew's dreams of space travel would continue. The piece is fabricated stainless steel and bronze.
