The canvas is laid down on wood panel. The panel is sound and slightly convex. Examination under UV light reveals lines of retouching to the lower part of the left edge and to the upper part of the right edge (the longest of which is approx. 12 cm), a thiner line of retouching along the right edge, a few small dots of retouching towards the center of the upper edge and a few smaller scattered dots in the sky. There is some light frame rubbing along the extreme edges. This work is in overall good condition.
