AQS on an off-white 8 x 5.5 sheet printed with 'One Small Step' in patriotic lettering, signed in black felt tip, "Charles Conrad, Jr., Cdr. Apollo XII." In full: "This isn't exact. 'It may have been a small one for Neil-but it is a big one for a little fellow like me.'" Matted with a photo of Conrad to an overall size of 12 x 20. In fine condition. Betting that the world would not revere the first words of the third man to walk on the moon in the same way that they celebrated Armstrong's famous quote-and poking fun at his own small stature-Conrad joked as he took his first step onto the lunar surface, saying, 'Whoopee! Man, that may have been a small one for Neil, but that's a long one for me.' An excellent photo with a charmingly misremembered quote from his crowning moment.
