Charles Emile Wattier (1800 - 1868) Engraving. Professionally framed and double matted. In gilt wood frame under glass with decorative pink & green ribbon, Measures 14-3/8x12-1/8"x3/4". Weight 2 pds 3 oz. Several works by the artist have been sold at auction, including 'La leçon de chant' sold at Christie's South Kensington '19th Century European Pictures' in 2003. The artist died in 1868. PROVENANCE: A Pawleys Island SC Private Estate.
