oil on canvas, signed and dated at lower right "Chas. M. Shean 1918," unframed. Charles Shean was a New York mural painter of some renown. He was elected recording secretary of the newly formed Society of Mural Painters in New York in 1895, of which John La Farge was the president. 72" x 104"
