Notes

Other drapery studies by Challe were formerly with Agnew's in 1989 and Thomas Leclaire in 1996, and two others were engraved by J. Varin en manière de crayon (exhi. cat. Les Varin, une dynastie de graveurs, Châlons-sur-Marne and elsewhere, 1987, nos. 14-15).
