Notes

Roëttiers became a member of the Académie Royale in 1764 and worked at the royal Mint from 1753 until his death. The 1753 design was for a jeton for the Grand-Maître d'Artillerie, and the 1756 design was for a jeton for the church-wardens of St. Sulpice, Paris. The blue mounts indicate that the designs had been approved to show to King Louis XV.
