The Dreadnought was an American built clipper ship active between 1853- 1869. She was built by Currier & Townsend in Newburyport, Massachusetts and owned by the Red Cross Line. She had principal dimensions of 212ft LOA x 41.5ft beam x 26.6ft draft and weighing 1,414 tons.
