Under black light: overall with heavy, milky-green varnish, restoration not visible in portrait of woman, scattered restoration visible in portrait of man; new varnish visible on surface of both portraits and each with restoration visible on surface, especially around each face, portrait of woman, overall with craquelure and @ 4" patch on verso in l.l. quadrant; portrait of gentleman with frame abrasion and stretcher impression visible on surface.
