Charles Williams act. 1797-1830- "God save the King, by A New Set of Performers, Being there First Appearance, These 20 Years"; original watercolour, titled in brown ink, on watermarked paper for J Whatman 1804; for the caricature published March, 1805, (BM 10541) showing nine notable persons to include The Duke of Norfolk, Fox, Sheriden, Lord H Petty, Lord Grey, Moira, Derby, Erskine and Whitbred, 22.8x36.9cm, (unframed) Note: Charles Williams, mostly published by Fores, who was one of the leading publishers of satires in the late 18th and early 19th centuries. Williams early pseudonyms include "Ansell" and "Argus".
