FIRST EDITION. A FINE COPY OF THE RARE HARDCOVER ISSUE, SIGNED BY KILLIP. 'A singularly original work of art, both passionate and partisan' (The Photobook). A key book in post-war British photography, for which Killip won the Henri Cartier-Bresson prize. Rare in this condition. The Open Book, pp.340-41 (recording only the issue in wrappers); The Photobook, vol. II, p.299.
