CHUKS ANYANWU (1937-1980) UNTITLED 1981 Oil on board 98.1 x 33.4 cm. (38¾ x 13 in.) Signed and dated (lower right) Chuks Anyanwu schooled at the Old Yaba Technical Institute in the late 1950's. He experimented in many diverse media especially the mixed media of relief and textured surfaces. His unique use of colour and eclectic style do not disassociate his works' representation of the culture and traditional aspects of Nigerian life.-OO
