Compare the swirling drapery and the pinched anguished faces with the relief of the Martyrdom of St. Meinrad, attributed to the workshop or follower of Christoph Daniel Schenk illustrated by van Euw. The reliefs can also be compared to the martyrdom relief in the Geistliche Schatzkammer, Vienna by Johann Caspar Schenck dating to circa 1670 RELATED LITERATURE
