Set of 20 black-and-white photographs, each mounted on card with printed title (some occasional pale dampstaining).

A very fine series of large photographs from one of the leading Parisian studios of the period depicting the building and grounds of the 1878 Exposition universelle. The subjects are: Chalet Tricotel; Petit-Pont; Vue générale du Champs de Mars; another view of the Champs de Mars; Pavillon des Eaux & Forêts; Gallerie d'Honneur; Porte des Beaux-Arts; Pavillon du Prince de Galles. Also the galleries and buildings of: Monaco and Spain; Italy; Siam, Tunis, Monaco, Portugal and the Low Countries; Portugal; Spain; United States, Sweden and Norway; Pavillon Walter Scott and Canada; Belgium (2 different views); Greece, Denmark, Central and South America; Austria and Hungary; Russia and Switzerland.
