(1857-1938 American) Gypsy dancer, framed oil on canvas, signed and dated 1886 lower left, approximate image size 63'' x 36'', frame size 70'' x 43''. PROVENANCE- Originally donated in 1921 to the Women's Club of Racine, Wisconsin, by Mrs. Crosby, President of the Women's Club from 1899-1901, and recently acquired by a private collector.

Light to moderate paint craquelure through center, with 2 small paint chips to yellow dress, canvas slightly sags on stretcher bar.
