(American, 1821-1910) After Arthur Fitzwilliam Tait (Anglo/American, 1819-1905) "Brook Trout Fishing/An Anxious Moment," 1862, (Conningham, 703). Identified in inscriptions in the matrix, label from the Old Print Shop, New York, on the reverse. Lithograph with hand-coloring heightened with gum arabic on paper, sheet size 22 1/2 x 31 in., framed. Condition: Margins 2 in., very subtle staining and toning, areas of tape residue on back corners.
