Description

Antique oil painting of a row of homes and steeples with city in the distance, possibly Dorchester Heights in Boston. Signed DARIUS COBB '75. Size: 30 x 44, framed 35 x 49 inches. VG conditino, relined, some restoration. (Cobb 1834-1919 was a Boston painter and twin brother of Cyrus Cobb the sculptor. Noted for Boston scenes. Also fought in the Civil War with the 44th Mass. Volunteers).

8. RESERVES: Unless advertised as an "Unreserved Auction", all sales may have items subject to reserve (an agreed upon price between the auctioneer and the consignor, below which the article will not be sold).

9. COLLECTION or SHIPMENT OF PURCHASES: Delivery or shipping arrangements must be made within seven (7) days from the close of the auction for all purchases.
