DAVID EVANS (American 1893-1959) INTERESTING BRONZE PLAQUE FROM THE CITY BANK FARMER'S TRUST BUILDING. The plaque shows a semi-nude woman smelling a flower seated in a garden setting. Unsigned. A book accompanies the lot "All Colored Book of Art Deco" by David Klein, page 38 shows the elevator doors for this bank and a paper indicating "Sculptor David Evans created ideological and decorative items of bronze and nickel for the lobby". A fabulous piece of Art Deco sculpture. SIZE: 13-1/4" h x 9-1/2" w. CONDITION: Very good. 9-90674 SM
