We make no warranties, nor does the consignor, as to the merchant-ability or fitness for a particular purpose, the correctness of the catalog or other description of the physical condition, size, quality, rarity, importance, medium, provenance, exhibitions, literature or historical relevance of any property. No oral or written statements made in the catalog, online listing, advertisement, bill of sale, and announcement or elsewhere made by employees (including affiliated and related companies) shall be considered a warranty. We and the Consignor make no representations and warranties, express or implied, as to whether the purchaser acquires any copyrights, including but not limited to, any reproduction rights of any property. We and the Consignor are not responsible for errors and omissions in the catalog, online listings or any other supplemental material. If a lot is offered subject to a reserve, we may implement such reserve by bidding on behalf of the Consignor, whether by opening bidding or continuing bidding in response to other bidders until reaching the reserve. If we interest in an offered lot and the proceeds therefrom other than our commissions, we may bid thereof to protect such interest.

We encourage prospective bidder to ask all pertinent questions before bidding and to ask for condition report on all items .The condition report apply only for the artwork itself, framing, matting and other are not included in the condition report.

The hammer price will be the final price excluding premium costs and taxes. California residents subject to state sales tax.

Checks should be made to payable to Joseph Grossman Fine Art, 230 Hearst Avenue, San Francisco, CA 94131. We accept payment by Paypal, wire transfer, cashier's check, Visa, MasterCard or personal check. All merchandise must be paid in full within two (2) weeks of the date of the sale.

We do not accept any return or request for refund. However if there is proof that the artwork is not by the artist as listed in our catalog, the buyer can request examination of the proof by our staff, and if it is found that the request is legitimate, the buyer will then return the purchased merchandise, and will be refunded the amount of purchase (Hammer price of the lot). Shipping and Handling costs will not be included as part of the refund. Refunds will only be processed once our staff has determined the accuracy of the claim. Please allow up to 3-4 weeks to process a refund. Under no circumstance will request for refund be accepted after 30 days from the date of purchase.

Under no circumstance will Joseph Grossman Fine Art incur liability to a purchaser in excess of the purchase price actually paid. We reserve the right to accept or decline any bid.

Buyer to pay all shipping costs and related fees including duties, VAT, Customs, and other associated charges. If buyer wishes, we can pack and handle lots at buyer expense, and will charge for handling and packaging $20.00 for lot sizes under 18", $25.00 for lots up to 30", and $35.00 for lots over 30". Actual shipping cost will be added to handling and packaging charge. There will be no packing or handling shipment for lots over-sized; the maximum size that will be handled and shipped is 30x40x8 inches or equivalent volume.

It is the responsibility of the buyer to handle the shipping and packaging of all lots over this size. Lots will be shipped by U.S.P.S insured priority mail or by U.P.S insured ground, unless otherwise instructed by buyer.
