* DENISE FINDLAY Portrait of the artist's sister Oil on canvas, signed 121cm x 56cm Note: Denise Findlay graduated from Glasgow School of Art in 1996, and won the Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation Award in 1998. Her work is now in many private collections including HRH The Prince of Wales. She has exhibited in Glasgow, Edinburgh, London, as well as Holland and Belgium.She is the great great grand daughter of Jessie Newberry. Findlay depicts the human head on a large scale to force people to really look and appreciate its subtlety. Private Scottish Collection.
