Three Framed Watercolors on Classical Themes: Fucina di Vulcano, Two Satyrs Hefting Boulders, and Two Caryatids
Fucina and Satyrs signed "De Angelis fecit" l.l., Caryatids
inscribed "Cav. P. de Angelis" on secondary mount l.c.
Watercolor and ink on paper, sheet sizes to 6 3/8 x 11 1/2 in. (16.2 x 29.2 cm).
Condition: Small tears, paper losses, creases, sheets mounted to secondary paper supports embellished with ink and or watercolor, not examined out of frames.

Provenance: From the estate of Mrs. Charles Sumner Hamlin, Albany, New York.

Fucina with small losses to sheet at upper corners, crease to l.r. corner, mild foxing. Satyrs with small tear at hinge u.l. corner, crease to l.r. corner, small tear and loss to upper edge of secondary support.
