A GROUP OF FIVE ENAMELED WARES

Doucai wares, Jiaqing seal marks and of the period; others, 18th century

Comprising a
doucai bowl with footed cover and under dish, each painted with the 'Three Friends of Winter', Jiaqing seal mark in underglaze blue; a sepia-decorated tea bowl of ogee profile, painted with a landscape scene with a gathering of figures seated and enjoying wine with a rider standing nearby, his horse tethered to a pine tree, some gilt highlights; and a
famille-rose, iron-red, and gilt saucer with three fan-shaped panels enclosing landscapes all reserved against a floral ground centered by a cockerel roundel, the reverse plain. (3)


(bowl, cover and) under dish: 5 3/4in (14.6cm) diam
ogee cup: 3 5/8in (9.2cm) diam
saucer: 4 1/2in (11.4cm) diam
