2 ORIGINAL DRAWINGS in black ink & grey wash. Both signed "O: Elliger fecit". Both ca. 13,5 x 20,5 cm. and tipped onto a mount. (2)

Cf. Poortman II, p. 100. Nice drawings depicting two scenes from the life of Jesus, resp. "The exorcism of the Gerasene demoniac" (or "The Miracle of the Gadarene Swine", as described in Matthew 8:28-32) and "Jesus blesses the children" (as described in Matthew 19:13-15). Both drawings were engraved (in reverse) by resp. Abraham de Blois (1655-1717) & Joseph Mulder (1659/60-ca.1718) and published in the famous print-bible of Pieter Mortier ("Historie des Ouden en Nieuwen Testaments", 1700). Ad 2: Sl. (ink-)stained on verso, but else in good condition.
