DU PERAC, Etienne (ca. 1525-1604). I vestigi dell'antichita di Roma raccolti et ritratti in perspettiva. Rome: Giombatista de Rossi, 1653. Oblong 2° (261 x 400mm). 39 etched plates only (of 40), including title. (Left margin of title covered by spine of earlier binding, title and plate 2 frayed at bottom margin, several more plates creased at bottom corners, top corners rubbed, plate 16 with a few spots, plate 39 slightly waterstained.) 19th-century cloth-backed wrappers. Provenance: Pleck (signature on title) -- Lund. University (duplicate stamp on title). Cf. Cicognara 3821 (first edition of 1575).
