Frame rubbing, dirty varnish. Stretcher marks visible, mainly along the upper edge. Small L-shaped tear at center, just above the farmer in the background. Minor scattered cracquelure throughout. Several patches on the reverse including a 3 x 3'''' patch at the upper center and a 4 x 4'''' patch at the lower right, each with corresponding inpainting. Masking varnish makes it difficult to detect any further restoration.
