Description

COUNTRY LANDSCAPE - This is a lovely watercolor painting by well listed English Artist EDMUND GEORGE WARREN (1834-1909). The painting is signed by the artist. Warren was part of the English tradition of landscape artists who recorded the rural nature of the English countryside. This lovely work measures 17 X 12 1/2 inches and comes unframed but mounted 24 x 18 inches. The condition is very good, although the mounting is not very good. I would date this piece to circa 1870. This fine watercolor came to me from a British Auction House.
