Edouard Felicien Alexis Pepin (French, b. 1853)

Industry Rewarded, late 19th/early 20th century, the female figure holding a bountiful cornucopia and placing a laurel wreath on the laborer's head while he sits surrounded by tools and plans, chocolate brown patina, base incised "E. PEPIN," without foundry mark, on detached circular revolving bronze base, total ht. 39 1/2 in.

Condition Report

Cornucopia unattached. Loss to patina on female figure's forearms. Scattered light abrasions. Nicks to foliage cornucopia. No repairs.
