Edward Arthur Gage RSW, PSSA (Scottish 1925 - 2000) Stray shadow, Rabat watercolour, signed and dated '83, inscribed verso 57cm x 76cm Note: Studied Edinburgh College of Art and became Art Master at Fettes College for sixteen years until 1968 followed by the post of Senior Lecturer at Napier University, Edinburgh. Highly regarded as the long serving Art Critic of The Scotsman newspaper and was elected President of The Society of Scottish Artists. A prolific exhibitor since 1960, his work is held in numerous private and public collections throughout Scotland.
