Edward Field Sanford sculpture (New York, 1886-1951), "Inspiration", neoclassically styled Art Deco nude holding a cherub, signed in base "Sanford 1929 [copyright symbol]" and "QGPJ Gorham Co. Foundry", parcel gilt patinated bronze, black slate base, 19-1/2 in. Slate base with small chips, minor abrasions to patinated surface. Provenance: Perry Estate, Nyack, New York.
